I love this podcast. The subject is fascinating and the quality of scholarship is exceptional. The extended 2 part interview on Egyptian language development with Edward O. D. Love was particularly good. It’s rare to find such deep and meticulously researched material on a public podcast. I do wonder, however, why the host spends so much time discussing details of the academic life that are unrelated to the topic of the Coptic Magical Papyri or esotericism in general.
