They surely have high performing athletes that they advise and coach, but they also provide really wonderful content for those middling-age Dads with kids, jobs, marriages (etc). They respect the time limits and constraints and I really find it inspiring/motivating. When I’m really not... more

Packs vs. Bottles, Vomit Intervals, Power for Tech. Practice
Q: Is there any sprint interval training or supra, max intervals, comma, vomit intervals?
These intervals can be effective but are not commonly used in cycling training due to the high fatigue and risk of dropout they create; other methods may provide similar benefits with less stress.
Packs vs. Bottles, Vomit Intervals, Power for Tech. Practice
Q: Hydration pack versus bottles for a three to four hour race, what should I choose?
It depends on various factors including how often you can refill, the weather conditions, and personal preference for hydration methods. Both options have their pros and cons.
Packs vs. Bottles, Vomit Intervals, Power for Tech. Practice
Q: Should I be using a power meter when I'm practicing my technical skills?
Using a power meter during technical skills practice is generally not necessary. The focus should be on honing the skills rather than monitoring power output, which may not be relevant in this context.
Bentonville, 'Healthy' Fueling, Starting Running, Indoor Threshold
Q: Why is it harder to meet indoor cycling numbers this year?
This could be due to differences in equipment or lower thresholds; it's normal for this time of year.
Bentonville, 'Healthy' Fueling, Starting Running, Indoor Threshold
Q: What are the best practices for a cyclist transitioning to running?
Start slowly with run/walk intervals to build gradually and avoid injury.
