Still only on the first couple episodes. So far, I love it. He mentions early on how the podcast might resemble the old Zines back in the day. Being an old punk kid, that really hit home... And he's nailing it. Lots of little articles glued together and xerox'd off for the masses.
This podcast is a mixture of musing on role playing games, Tolkien and Japanese culture. Rob is a transplanted Scot living in Kyoto and his observations on Japan, RPGs as they are played in Japan and life in general are fascinating.
Episodes are short and snappy. Good stuff recommended.
Intelligent and softly spoken, a very soothing experience in these troubled times.
This is a great little podcast that takes a nostalgic look at all things Fantasy and roleplaying related. The presenter’s easy-going manner makes it a delight to listen to. Highly recommended.
