  • Fun and informative

Love this show. Learning about the structure of comedy from an inside perspective and the divergences in conversation is fascinating. Looking at comedy and life from different points of view is something more people should do. Can’t wait to hear more!

  • Comedy’s Authenticity

Was stirring and emotional for me. Mark is a supple facilitator and allows the interviewee to speak freely. The comedians are immensely sensitive to the difficulties of living, whilst simultaneously seeing the redemptive pause which a comedy performance can deliver.

  • In a nutshell- it’s wonderful.

Lovely podcast balancing humour with insight. Mark and his guests dive into where comics got their start, how it still plays a part and all in all what gives Comedy its heart.

    In a nutshell of course.

Love this podcast, it gives you a real insight into the inner workings of a creative person's mind, and just how comedians found their way into comedy. I often drive slower just so I can finish the episode.

130. Amelia Hamilton
Q: What part of the debut hour was most comfortable for you, and where do you feel happiest when you're assembling the show—writing, performing, or rap?
She indicates that while she enjoys rap, writing, and performance, the happiest moment is when she is on stage rapping and delivering jokes with the audience, though she also cherishes crowd work and crafting a show with a clear arc.
