  • Two smug friends bloviate

Do you want insight on Gundam and fun engaging conversation from two witty commentators? Well don’t listen to this. The smugness will practically waterboard you. The Watch from Mercury podcast understands how to entertain and provoke thought on Gundam and anime in a way these two will never figure out.

  • This show rules

I love Gundam but its really hard to find content about it in English. Thankfully I stumbled upon this show and it’s really refreshing to hear something about it in a way that you would also talk about it.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

0152: Urdr-Hunt & Endless Waltz @ Gundam Premiere Night
Q: Isaac, if you were a fresh watcher of Iron Blooded Orphans, would you tell them to watch season one, then Wedge of Interposition, then season two, or would you tell them to save Wedge of Interposition until after season two?
I would say after season two because the cameos and kind of callbacks will hit you better.
0140: Headcanon Head Scratchers (aka Gunundrums) Vol. 1
Q: How did the world of G Gundam, future century, as we all call it, go from having wars on such a massive scale, I assume with Mobile Suits, that the planet was just left environmentally wasted?
I guess you can read through the lines and assume some types of weapons were used, like maybe nuclear, biological or chemical weapons, which devastated the planet.
0140: Headcanon Head Scratchers (aka Gunundrums) Vol. 1
Q: Brian, is that kind of how you approached today's episode?
Yeah, it was anything that kind of to your point makes you go, I don't know about that.
0130: Mail Call #6: Salty Coordinators? 00h N00!
Q: If you had to live in one Gundam universe, what would it be? And what faction would you choose?
If I had to choose, I think I would go with G Gundam since it's more of a sport-themed universe compared to the others.
0129: Requiem for Vengeance Review
Q: How did you think about this design? Because it's a lot different than most Gundams we've seen, especially for Universal Century.
I actually really liked it. It almost felt like behind enemy lines, strike mode Gundam.
