I love this podcast! I think it is my favorite and I listen to A LOT of podcast. So happy it’s back.
My father in law was captured and marched 500 mi to China. He participated in the Korean Olympics and was happy to have something to do. He says conditions were so poor and brutal that anyone who had nothing to motivate them would simply set down and die.
He’s a Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart WW2 / Korean vet, at 94 years Id like to see anyone suggest to him he did the olympics to help the Chinese / Koreans or for better treatment, he did it to stay alive.
Solid podcast with good content. The info goes beyond general knowledge and gets to more in depth info. Which I appreciate.
Great content and very well presented. The Cold War is a fascinating subject and era that is well deserving of discussion. Hopefully Ryan will put out some more episodes.
Rather insightful analysis on the different episodes of CW. Enjoyed it!
