I LOVE your shows and investigations Dave Cawley! And will listen to anything you put out or suggest! Thanks for doing what you do and for going into such detail with these crimes!
I like this podcast. It drags on at times with repetitive details. Unfortunately, there is only so much information in the Yost & Warren cases that could likely be consolidated into 1/2 the episodes. The Powell case had much more detail which warranted a full season. I respect that you shine light on cold cases.
A bit over the top with the trigger warning.
People that are that fragile don’t usually listen to true crime.
A simple graphic warning is apropos.
Definitely my favorite podcast along with 2 others. This is my 3rd time Re listening to the series. Hoping new seasons ahead cuz the details are amazing, I put it on while I’m working. You really capture the emotions & it’s so well put together. It breaks my heart to know what all the victims of these tragedies went through, people need to know what happened to see the signs & be able to try to protect themselves. May they rest in peace
Season 2 is too drawn out and could have been told in half the time. I really appreciate the pure narration of the facts rather than the banter among 2-3 podcasters. But sometimes Dave takes it a bit too far. He could have just cited the Hifi Murder case as it affected Doug Lovell’s case, but to go into all that detail with the names of like 6-8 people only confused the matter.
Also, please just read the narrative. The description of the night Joyce was abducted and murdered was peppered with... more
