From Reuters to AI startups: Automating Financial News with Google Cloud
Q: Can you tell me a bit more about your background and how you got into journalism and financial news?
I grew up in a regime where the foreign page held the most interesting stories, pursued journalism after a scholarship, started in TV, then gradually moved into business journalism, eventually working for Reuters in New York and later Denmark to cover European financial news. The drive was to tell timely, accurate stories and to be part of a fast-moving industry where technology could automate repetitive tasks.
