Sounds like a zombie movie, huh? Or a alien/mutant brain movie. Well, it surprised at least one of us who learned it's more of a body snatcher movie. But why nitpick? Perhaps it's because we can't think what to write about it and should let our mouth... more
Another summer at the drive-in comes to a close with two movies that were surprisingly #1 at the box office the week of Halloween, 1970. As a child, Jeff saw this double-feature at the Enid Drive-In, but as an adult, he and Richard appear at the Midd... more
We're back to the drive-in for a 1963 double feature of troubled productions involving the likes of Roger Corman, Jack Nicholson, and Francis Coppola: The Terror and Dementia 13. Listen what happens when a 57-year old child is careless with his words... more
It's another summer at the drive-in and we're starting with a real double-feature, just like when our two movies were actually shown at the Big Sky Drive-In in 1960... Caltiki, the Immortal Monster, and Tormented. For the next three episodes you can ... more

Always a good time listening to Rich and Jeff! They’re huge fans of horror/sci-fi, and their love for these classics comes through on the show.
The default noise reduction or auto ducking that is set in your recording software cuts off the first syllable or word of a lot of sentences, making it hard to understand what you are even saying - not good in an audio podcast. Also, you need to invest in a couple of decent lavalier mics at least, or in some other way mitigate the room reverb - it sounds like you are recording with the built in mic of a computer or phone. Anyway, my ears are exhausted and I’m giving up.
I had to come back and update my review, because Jeff and Rich have gotten all their technical difficulties solved, and their podcast is nothing but awesome Monster Kid fun now!
The two know their stuff, share their research and thoughts on the movies in an entertaining manner, and the show is just a joy to listen to each month!
HIGHLY recommended for horror fans of all ages!
Jeff and Richard are long time monster movie fans and it shows. Their knowledge is vast and they put it to good use. Always entertaining and always informative and they are responsible for adding MANY movies to my “to watch” list.
