  • A missed opportunity

I heard about the podcast on another site and gave it a try with one of the episodes. The episode included a segment about Tesla vandalism. The hosts were not well versed on the scope of these attacks and could not bring themselves to fully condemn the attacks and spent most of the time giving reasons that it was the victims fault for buying a Tesla. These are local neighbors that are being attacked. Shameful. The progressive spin was very strong and really should be left to shows that are not i... more

  • Propaganda

I appreciate getting local news. But it’s all fed through the leftist agenda, and opinions are presented as facts. It does inform me on what and who to not vote for, so for that I’ll keep listening.

  • A Californian who wishes he could afford to move to Idaho right now

A left leaning to Liberal host, with Liberal guests. True insight to see how the “Boise metropolitan area” is turning purple. And how a state who’s vibrantly red, becomes purple and eventually blue. Listen to the show, you’ll see how it happens. This is the situation most of us “rural” Californians are in, completely outnumbered by the city people so our vote doesn’t matter, especially on the national stage. I really hope the people who live there understand this and vote in their local electi... more

Could West Boise Get Their Own Library?
Q: If you could make a pitch though to the entire city for a West Boise Library branch, what would you say?
It's not hard to convince library supporters that access should be equally shared across all neighborhoods in Boise, including West Boise.
Could West Boise Get Their Own Library?
Q: What's at stake for you if a West Boise Library branch isn't part of the plan?
If it isn't included in the plan, we risk having no new library developments for our neighborhood, despite our efforts to voice our concerns.
Could West Boise Get Their Own Library?
Q: Is that potentially a compromise that you feel would help West Boise?
While expanding existing facilities is more cost-effective, I still advocate for building a new library in West Boise for better accessibility.
Could West Boise Get Their Own Library?
Q: How do you respond to that?
I believe library staff should advocate for and seek funding for what would best serve the community, including adding a library branch in West Boise.
Could West Boise Get Their Own Library?
Q: What really flipped the switch for you from like concerned resident who's having to drive 12 to 20 minutes to the library to somebody who's forming a group to really push for a library in your neighborhood?
Attending city meetings and realizing the need for a local library made me commit to making it a serious effort.
