    The culture coverage is fantastic, Nikki brings great takes on what to do around town and how to best consume the fantastic opportunities in the city. Similarly Eva Ruth gives fantastic perspective, commentary, and logistical explanation of the Texas Legislature.

    While recuperating from eye surgery, I needed some podcasts to listen to and chose City Cast Austin. It was such a great choice. I binged all the episodes in a few days.

    The host Nikki is engaging and authentic. She’s a lifelong Austinite which helps the podcast have a truly “in the know” feel. When the other guest hosts are on it seems like you’re hanging out with friends. And the variety of topics the show covers are wide enough to stay interested, but not so out there that you’re wondering ... more
