  • Great host, great show

While recuperating from eye surgery, I needed some podcasts to listen to and chose City Cast Austin. It was such a great choice. I binged all the episodes in a few days.

The host Nikki is engaging and authentic. She’s a lifelong Austinite which helps the podcast have a truly “in the know” feel. When the other guest hosts are on it seems like you’re hanging out with friends. And the variety of topics the show covers are wide enough to stay interested, but not so out there that you’re wondering ... more

  • A must for locals

Love this show. I listened to the Houston version for a while until they expanded into Austin, but am so glad to have a local show here now. The host is amazing - really makes the show with her excitement about every topic. It is Austin-centric, but also delves into wider topics about Texas culture and politics. Hope they keep up the amazing work so I can keep learning new things about this city I’ve lived in for decades.
