This sure is a podcast
Interesting but basic storyline. Tried to be edgy with some events in the second to last episode but didn’t ring true with the main character’s arc. Last episode was hard to follow because of its structure; tried too hard to wrap everything up instead of focusing just on the main character.
Too crude for me
About halfway through and not really sure what is going on but am enjoying it. Good production values and episode lengths. Will keep listening.
I won’t give it away in the review. If you like mysterious drama pods, you’ll like this take on it. Well done.
While the premise shows promise, the show ultimately fails to deliver. The big bad is unconvincing & the main character's violence against women and animals don't feel driven by the narrative.
Take The Truman Show and 1984, throw them into a blender, add excellent use of repetition and quick cuts to disorient the listener, a too cheery performance by the lead, darkly comic observations about work, family, and pets and you get this story which slowly pulls you in detail by detail. Really excited to see where this goes.
