Featuring reviews of all the latest releases and festivals, plus news and interviews, giveaways and competitions, we are also the home of the "two-word review". We love going to the pictures, so this podcast is all about the flicks. You won't find anything here here a... more

Love Cinematica podcasts - true quality, informative, entertaining, a little bit local and a must for movie goers everywhere. Thanks guys!
This podcast has come a long way in a year. Informative and positive with a great rapport between the hosts. The format is well structured, avoiding the rambling that you get in some podcasts. Give it a try.
Dan, Kailey and Simon present an excellent podcast containing reviews, discussions and interviews on films, their making, distribution and screening. They're all extremely knowledgeable about their subject, and cover a range of film types, from blockbusters to indie and foreign language movies. Rise to the challenge of sending them a #twowordreview of a film you've seen - it's not easy!
Great discussions about the film industry from reviews to production, distribution and exhibition, all by interested and interesting hosts. Fantastic work, Cinematicans!
I particular don't like podcasts but the way these guys interact is awesome, make it feel like you are part of them, the point of views are not strictly in one path so the opinion is always up in the air!
An entertaining, witty, and informative poscast about film which matches the New Zealand cinema release schedule. The show often has great guests who add their own special knowledge to the discussions. I love that the hosts aren't afraid to express their love or disdain for films. Great review of The Darkest Hour in episode 14. I highly recommend film lovers check this out
I find this podcast both entertaining and informative. With their mixture of great interviews, off the cuff banter and all the movie news one ever needs it is obvious that the people involved both know what they are talking about and enjoy talking about it!
Dan is great as the leader, his direction and knowledge second to none and I enjoy hearing his opinions the most, however the contest is very tight and Simon and Kailey both offer something to the podcast making it well rounded.

The cast of this great podcast have extremely good taste in movies and are highly entertaining to boot.
I've listened to their last 5 podcasts and I rate the show, it is quality. I particularly like their 2 word movie reviews which are by definition "extremely concise".
Well done Dan and team, keep it coming.
I am eagerly awaiting the next installment! Thanks
Bravo! Love the reviews and interviews, and is that a Canadian accent we hear from Kailey?
...with what you need to see, what's coming up, and what not to waste your popcorn on. Can't wait to hear more.
