Just recently though, we had a multiple week Friday night Bible study in a few different homes from the congregation and we used Jack’s book “you are saved” and I really appreciated his simple yet thorough writing and teaching ability.

Great listen! Interesting topics, valuable insight, enlightening, and sometimes challenging (as he illustrates my weaknesses, which I appreciate). Ido not always agree, but I have enough respect for Jack’s approach to Scripture and Biblical knowledge to pause and give attention to the thoughts, topics, and perspectives he brings. Episodes grapple with topics like gender roles, headship, church practices, and ethics in ministry, usually from a biblically grounded perspective with frequent references to scripture, historical viewpoints, and contemporary controversies. The host leans toward conservative evangelical angles and frequently ties discussions to practical ministry, family life, and church governance, making it a go-to for leaders seeking principled stances and actionable ideas. A standout is the solo, argument-driven format that blends critique with policy-like prescriptions for church communities and culture shift, sometimes featuring bold chall... more
