I thoroughly enjoyed the recent episode on Between the Testaments. A period that’s been a bit nebulous to me - Drew presented the history / timeline succinctly and is so engaging. At the end I was reminded that every piece of history is part of the story God wrote and consistently foreshadows to Christ - God is and has always been faithful despite the dark periods, despite our wandering.
Have only listened to a few episodes, but so far have really liked this podcast and have added to my core podcast rotation.
I’m a big fan of the Christianese podcast and am so glad it came back after a hiatus. Drew writes and speaks so well, and I appreciate the music and overall ~atmosphere~ of each episode. It’s the kind of mood that you want to settle into on your commute home. Without fail I find myself just thinking and wondering more about scripture and God and my place in the world after I listen. Makes meditating on scripture pretty easy! Highly recommend.
I enjoy this podcast because the host seeks to be biblical (not political) on issues within the Christian faith and outside of it. The listener is challenged to think about things from a perspective that honors and loves God and loves people. And the production of the podcast is well done. Please keep it up!
Someone shared this podcast with me and I have so enjoyed the topics discussed and it has grown and stretched my thinking. Thank you for the intelligent discussions!
