I like your podcast very much, but the episode on the French Resistance is embarrassing. Please read more about the war; your commentary lacks depth and sophistication. For example, you state that after D-Day the Allies just rolled on through the country and liberated France. Wrong 😑 I also suggest you watch the great documentary “The Sorrow and the Pity”. I started on the latest episode, The French Resistance, and really enjoyed it! I didn’t know much about the movement, since the focus on WWII is usually on the Nazis and their clashes with the Allies - any mention on the French Resistance is usually cursory at most.
This episode gave plenty of detail, was well paced and the tone was engaging throughout. Great podcast, give it a listen!
