Each week, the Drunk Guys tackle a famous book while drinking #Craftbeer matching the book, characters, themes, etc. What beer goes with Orwell’s 1984? Founder’s Dissenter IPA, of course. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow? Seven pumpkin beers. A great #Podcast for readers, drinkers, or anyone with a raunchy sense of humor. Way better than English class. Good listen if you’re a 16 year old stuck in the 2010s. Host with the deeper voice just discovered he has a penis and dominates with bottom tier sex jokes. Wide breadth of books covered and zero insight. I wish they removed Brother Bukkake and maybe the other hosts could muster an actual thought.
I came to listen to “book club” type discussion about Demon. I feel like the hosts did have some valid criticisms of the book. However, one hosts did seem to miss the point a bit regarding the people of this area. Or at least fell into the trap of stereotyping them in ways that was one of the main themes of the book. Honestly though, if you want a laugh, listen to this podcast.
My friends are morons and I love hanging out with them, especially when they’re throwing back a few cold ones. But they don’t read books. I’m pretty sure most of them don’t even know how to read. That’s where the Drunk Guys come in. Listening to an episode is like hanging out with three friends for an hour talking books, busting balls, and cutting loose. Highly recommend to all.
You guys are so funny 🤣 I love the Ickabog one I read the book to my child not expecting the gruesomeness it scared her very much so I wish I listened to it before I bought the book I might need you guys later on 🍻
