What up huskies. I’m writing this from the Underground Bar in downtown kato. Whisky/cokes are strong, and it’s time I said something nice about MTU. I’ll forever think that we should have won a couple weekends ago, but hey that Ight bruh. Totally killer production you guys have here, love hearing some honesty. Getting opposing team’s fans, media folk, and the important folk in college/CCHA on the pod is incredible. Absolutely love to hear about this stuff from a different perspective. more
I learn an awful lot about college hockey from this podcast. It’s not just about MTU but also the CCHA. Very informative without talking down to the listeners.
Where else can you hear talk about Joe-isms, Winter Carnival, pasties, Misfits, and happenings with Tech hockey all recorded in The State of Hockey? more
This is by far and away the best Michigan Tech Hockey podcast out there. Not only that but the hosts have more beards than your average Amish podcast. If I had to rank the beards of the podcast hosts I would say: 1. Dustin 2. Tim 3. Rob 4. Matt Also it’s clear that the NCHC is the greatest hockey conference and its creation was a good thing for college hockey. Bruce Ciskie is a better play-by-play guy than Dirk Hembroff. Anyway keep up the good work! This is a great source for MTU and college ho... more
Love the guys at Tech Hockey Guide! Each episode is such a fun conversation about the best experience in college hockey. Keep it up!
