Borrowed into English from French, niche, comes from the verb nicher (to make a nest), ultimately from Latin nidus (nest), referring to a recessed space. Pronouncing the word as nitch is, at best, cultural appropriation.
Love the show!
I've listened to A LOT of hockey podcasts and this is by far my favourite. The most entertaining hockey podcast out there.
I love this podcast and your discussions about “Heated Rivalry.”
However, the third host in the little video box in the bottom left corner (akwardly looking off to screen left) has to improve his speaking. He tends to run out of volume as he finishes sentences, so we lose part of the information. He has good points to make. I don’t want to miss them. His volume is generally quiet with bursts of loudness compared to the two main hosts who are clear with steady volume and well paced speaking.

How much do I love this show?! As a female fan I usually go into any hockey panel of all dudes with a certain degree of skepticism but I could listen to these welcoming, friendly, funny guys all day. I’ve grown up watching hockey and it’s an absolute staple in my household.
These guys know hockey and they’re entertaining as all hell. To be honest I already loved them… but seeing the way these guys have embraced the “Heated Rivalry” fandom has skyrocketed them to another level in my mind.
Y’all are some of the good ones. You’ve got a loyal fan for life.
