  • Great content, well-delivered!

This podcast provides a connection of sorts for me to my daughter who is studying at AMU over 1000 miles from home. I get to learn, too! And I don’t have to worry about being led astray or fed things that do not propel me towards heaven with Dr. Dauphinais. Topics are interesting, guests are notable, level of conversation is right at eye level. It has given me a great list of titles to add to my spiritual reading. I look forward to Tuesday and the new episode drop each week!

The conversations Dr. Dauphinais has with his guests are very informative, interesting, and thought provoking! The topics discussed I find are culturally relevant, and the discussions are a great source for Christian apologetics!

  • Theology is amazing!

I was looking for a good introduction into deeper Catholic Theology while discerning a masters degree. I was thrilled to come across this podcast - I love the format of the show, and the dedication to learning more about scripture, sacred tradition, history and many other topics. Every Catholic (and those non-Catholics who want to understand Catholicism) should listen! Thank you for sharing Christ and theology through this show.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Feminine Revival: Why the Future of Women Depends on Formation | Ep. 197
Q: What role does Our Lady play in this new model of womanhood?
She is presented as the ultimate model of feminine genius, a practical exemplar for women to emulate in leadership, motherhood, and spiritual life, guiding the formation circles toward living virtuous lives that radiate truth and goodness.
The Feminine Revival: Why the Future of Women Depends on Formation | Ep. 197
Q: How does 'formation' bridge intellectual learning and lived daily life for women?
Formation is defined as the ongoing shaping of mindset and skills to enable women to choose their highest good and live out their purpose daily, integrating faith, reason, and embodied habits.
The Feminine Revival: Why the Future of Women Depends on Formation | Ep. 197
Q: What are the core mindsets you teach to help women move from scarcity to abundance?
Donovan describes transforming perceptions from scarcity and comparison to abundance and resilience by focusing on growth mindset, self-knowledge, and practical micro-skills integrated with faith, encouraging women to see challenges as opportunities for growth.
The Summa for Beginners: Aquinas and Cooperation with Evil w/ Fr. Ryan Connors | Ep. 195
Q: How does the object of the act influence moral evaluation in Aquinas' framework?
The moral object determines what the act is in itself; intentions and consequences matter but do not by themselves redefine the act; the object clarifies whether the act or its purpose or means orient toward God and human flourishing.
The Summa for Beginners: Aquinas and Cooperation with Evil w/ Fr. Ryan Connors | Ep. 195
Q: What is the relationship between virtue and the commandments in Aquinas' teaching?
The commandments point to love, but the virtues articulate and develop what that love requires; Aquinas treats the Ten Commandments under the virtue of justice and truth-telling, showing how virtues ground and explain the commandments in a fuller, happiness-oriented moral vision.
