I absolutely love these lectures and am overjoyed that they are finally updating and were not abandoned. Though I enjoy Father Mike Schmitz’s Catechism In A year podcast, Father Guy’s is much more suited for my way of learning. In conjunction, both podcasts are a benefit to my catechesis which I pray will enrich my overall understanding of the faith so that I will have wisdom in explaining and defending my Catholic beliefs when confronted by hard lined Protestants. Thank you so much!!!!
I am a convert to Catholicism of 12 years. I teach in a Catholic school and am working on my Masters in Religious Education. I found my RCIA classes barely scratched the surface of the faith. I tried reading the Catechism on my own but these podcasts have been so incredibly helpful in breaking open the truths of the Catechism. I listened from July to Dec 2017 while commuting, working out and biking. I hope Fr. Guy will continue use through the rest of the Catechism. What a blessing!
As I seek to deepen my faith I found this very helpful and plan to go through the entire series
This is a thoughtful discussion and explanation of the catechism. I have learned much from it and enjoy listening to it
