Q: What are practical ways to introduce mindfulness in coaching sessions without overstepping scope?
Coaches should guide basic, accessible practices learned in training, avoid teaching as mindfulness instructors, and use introductory exercises like breath and body awareness or brief presencing exercises to establish presence at the start of sessions.
The Science of Slowing Down: Mindfulness, MBSR, and the Coaching Edge with Serena Jain, NBC-HWC

MBSR is an eight-week, evidence-based course originally developed for chronic pain, designed to build coping skills and resilience, and it can be credited as a CEU for coaches.
The Science of Slowing Down: Mindfulness, MBSR, and the Coaching Edge with Serena Jain, NBC-HWC

Mindfulness is the awareness that arises when we pay attention on purpose in the present moment, without judgment, and with kindness and curiosity as a guiding stance.
AI and Coaching: How to Use Artificial Intelligence Without Losing the Human Connection (Sara Parrode)
Q: What are practical first steps for brand-new users to start integrating AI into coaching?
Start with a simple tool like ChatGPT-based chat for coaching questions, have a conversation without worrying about prompting, and use it to brainstorm content or prepare for sessions, then gradually add tools like Notebook LM and Gamma for deeper functions.
AI and Coaching: How to Use Artificial Intelligence Without Losing the Human Connection (Sara Parrode)
Q: Sara, what are coaches commonly fear about AI taking over their jobs?
The fear often centers on replacement, but in practice AI currently covers only a portion of coaching needs; human connection, empathy, and intuitive reading between the lines remain irreplaceable, so AI should augment rather than replace coaching.
