This podcast is delightfully pleasant and informative. It's nice to listen to experts discuss their work and experiences in the technical areas of theater, especially as someone that works more on the sales/marketing side of things.
I like to learn about all sorts of interesting things, and lighting was not one of them until I discovered this podcast. Not only have I learned just how complex it is to light a stage, event, or … well, anything, I find it entertaining (even if a few times I don’t know the technical terms lol). I look forward to more episodes.
A wealth of information, in a very well produced setting. The wide range of mediums covered is incredibly valuable as well as the discussion with seasoned designs in the field.
The guests are from very different parts of the business, and have widely different experiences to share. I like that the interviewer doesn’t do all the talking. Hour-long episodes and two part interviews can take some time to get through, sometimes more than one sitting, but interesting information in each listen.
This show is an invaluable resource for anyone working in or interested in the lighting/projection industry. Hearing stories from people who work in the field at all levels of professionalism is helpful, entertaining, and inspiring.
I can’t wait for more!
Very informative and entertaining podcast. I really like that the guests are so varied from different corners of our industry.
Great interviewer, good questions, always gets the guests talking.
Drinking game: drink everytime a guest is ‘fabulous!’ ;)
This is a wonderful peek behind the curtain in the area of theatrical lighting... very informative... great guests... looking forward to more!
