I really enjoyed listening to Hazel and Lizzy. I tried out several of their ideas for breaking writer’s block and found them helpful.
This podcast is great for writers and non-writers alike. Lizzy and Hazel have great rapport and it’s so fun to listen to them discuss how their challenges impact their writing, for better or for worse. The thing I get most out of this podcast is listening to them model a supportive relationship where they encourage each other to both strive for and be realistic about their writing goals and how writing fits into their busy daily lives. The podcast is well produced, a perfect length, and although... more
Lizzie and Hazel are two normal people with everyday worries just trying to write while also feeding themselves and paying rent. I don’t necessary expect them to find a magical writing trick that will solve my whole life, but then neither do they - and honestly that’s why I can listen to this podcast instead of other “how to write” podcasts. You just gotta try stuff and listen to people talk about writing a little bit (these episodes are short and sweet) and then get to it. Thanks ladies, lookin... more
Lizzy and Hazel have been the dulcet voices slowly pulling me from a writer's block induced death. I'm not quiet in the clear yet, but I am relistening to their episodes to do each challenge properly. Their encouraging, positive and lively banter is as fresh the second time around as it is inspirational. This show is truly like having writing friends I can take anywhere as I try to write again.
This fun podcast is the perfect inspiration I need each week to open my laptop and write. It's aimed at writers, but helps anyone who is looking to get their creative juices flowing. Lizzy and Hazel (the co-hosts) keep the episodes focused, sharp, and funny! Highly recommend for writers and creatives!
