This is a very thoughtful and thorough podcast. David Lombardo does a great job. Recently they have started doing dramatic readings of transcripts. I encourage this podcast to continue these readings. They are informative and entertaining.
It wasn’t my intention to devour all 7 episodes of “Tales from the Coup” in a single sitting, but that’s what happened. The genius is in Lombardo’s editing, and in his seamless narration of a complex saga that he manages to present linearly and grippingly. Bravo. Wow.
David Lombardo and the Times Union team have done a marvelous job bringing this podcast alive, especially with David's 6-part special on the coup of 2009. I don't think I could have gotten a better sense of how it happened, and how it stopped, had I been standing in a hallway near the Senate chambers, or eavesdropping in the LCA newsroom.
