Reviews

3.0 out of 5 stars from 4 ratings
  • Hosts seem disconnected, unaware, and out of date

They make big statements but can’t really back up why they feel the way they do. They keep going back to “this is just the way things should be done,” and saying empty-minded platitudes like “I believe everyone should love their job.” Just another example of old ideas that are past their expiration date, find another podcast where the hosts have something to offer.

Shift from self-judgment to curiosity, understand triggers behind spending, create a budget that prioritizes essential expenses, and celebrate small wins to build momentum toward financial stability.
The Psychology of Debt
Q: What biases contribute to ongoing debt?
Present bias makes immediate rewards feel essential, optimism bias leads people to overestimate future earnings, and the minimum payment illusion keeps people in debt by masking true costs.
The Psychology of Debt
Q: Why is being in debt more psychological than financial?
Emotions like shame, fear, and anxiety drive spending decisions, so people often act on feelings rather than on the actual numbers, which perpetuates debt beyond what the math would dictate.
Job Search Strategy vs. Tactics
Q: What are common mistakes job seekers make regarding tactics?
They send too many generic applications and don't take the time to tailor their approach or prepare for interviews.

Q: How do strategy and tactics work together?
Strategy is like GPS, guiding you, while tactics provide the momentum needed to reach your goals.
