Too many commercials. Unbearable. Unsubscribed.
I think Brydon should dispense with guests altogether …I thought other reviews were being unreasonable , but my god he interrupts a lot and also cuts people off when there about to launch into an anecdote.
The title of the podcast is something of a nod to what you’re going to get. The guests frequently become an after thought as we listen to Rob using them as a foil to his own stories and constant interruptions to tell us about himself… again. You get a glimpse of a good story emerging and, out of nowhere, Rob interrupts with a throw-away quip which derails the line of thought and loses it forever. There are

Great podcast generally but Rob is increasingly becoming a show off and interrupting the flow of the conversation, often when the guest is on the verge of an anecdote that is lost and we never get to hear.
Case in point - Isaacs was never allowed to tell his Richard Harris Mutiny on the Bounty anecdote as Rob interrupted him mid flow. So bl**dy annoying.
A lovely, rounded podcast. But the ads are more frequent than other top podcasts.
A shame to distract from the speakers so frequently.
