This podcast is "appointment listening" for me during weekend nap times. I listen and cook or do the dishes and learn a LOT. I really love the personal approach - it feels like a lot of these conversations are happening at my kitchen table. I loved hearing the relationship advice and about paid sick days. I didn't realize so few people had access to paid sick days! I aso really enjoy the music! Keep it coming, MomsRising!
This new series is absolutely fantastic. Each segment is like an in-depth tutorial on issues that directly shape the lives of women, which I can listen to on my mobile as I go about my day. And the speakers are like the circle of friends I always wanted - warm, smart women who get me and my life, and are passionate about the same things I am.
For all you moms and dads wondering how to "have it all," this series delivers! The MomsRising "go out and change the world" energy combined with experts of the type usually heard only on NPR are at their best here. These moms and friends of moms are changing more than diapers!
What a breath of fresh air to tune in to a radio program, in which the guests aren't yelling at each other and the issues speak directly to me and my family. I enjoy MomsRising Radio because it has a good mix of policy experts and regular moms that speak to the issues I care about and have an impact on me as a mom: affordable and accessible childcare, health care, flextime in the workplace, birth control and paid sick days.
Please keep the segments coming!
I love listening to this program because it's so rare to hear from women in the media and this show is full of mom experts, activists, and political leaders. And it's so great to hear about issues that are so close to my life as a mom.
