This podcast is "appointment listening" for me during weekend nap times. I listen and cook or do the dishes and learn a LOT. I really love the personal approach - it feels like a lot of these conversations are happening at my kitchen table. I loved hearing the relationship advice and about paid sick days. What a breath of fresh air to tune in to a radio program, in which the guests aren't yelling at each other and the issues speak directly to me and my family. I enjoy MomsRising Radio because it has a good mix of policy experts and regular moms that speak to the issues I care about and have an impact on me as a mom: affordable and accessible childcare, health care, flextime in the workplace, birth control and paid sick days.
