  • Raw and thoughtful

Wow! This is a fabulous exploration o life on the other side, something we just don’t know about on the outside. It’s honest and will change your view on corrections and justice. Gary has done a terrific job humanising the inmates with respect and rapport. I wish I could give more stars.

  • Food for thought!

Another Jubelin podcast well worth a listen. Certainly gave me food for thought. Yes I agree the ‘old prison’ system does not work. Is the prison featured on this podcast the answer - a step in the right direction - yes perhaps. But let’s not get too woke! Prisoners made a choice to commit a crime and they did not consider the victim or the victims family nor did they consider the effect their choices made on their own family.

  • Important Step Forward

This podcast effectively explores and advocates for 'an alternative to the perpetuation of violence and misery that is our prison system. All credit to Mr Jubalin for his work in developing a nuanced understanding of the ubiquitous and counterproductive ‘tough on crime’ discourse. Mr Jubalin reveals that just like cops, criminals are people too.
