Please Andrew, let the guest finish their sentence before jumping in with your thoughts or questions. It is so frustrating. I really do enjoy this podcast, but if you are going to have a guest on to tell their story, let them tell it!
Generally a pretty good podcast although Andrew tends to drop the Ball on facts. In a Horse called Wink which the orator apparently wrote a book ;he states twice that Wink’s 33 Run Unbeaten Streak started at the Gold Coast when in fact it was on the Sunshine Coast in a race formally known as the Sunshine Coast Guineas and now named the Winx Guineas a fact I think Andrew should obviously know
I am surprised but also not surprised by the inaccuracy of some of the information in these podcasts. The fact that you didn’t gather the correct information before recording is a concern. You should do better.
Listening to Greg Carroll with Andrew Rule. Greg was interrupted countless times by Rule’s incessant habit of proving he knew more about the bookie robbery and its main characters. This was one of Rule’s disappointing episodes, other are far better.
Australia, geographically has the size and scope of the US but historically and culturally is probably closer to the UK, and as a result, the true crime is particularly fascinating. Andrew Rule is a master storyteller and knows his subject back to front, striking just the right balance between empathy and cynicism. Plus, he has one of the best voices in all of podcasting.
