Fantastic well done podcast and the most special Jamie your film sis guest star!!!!! Love her to pieces
The hosts are clearly intelligent and well spoken they bring solid and interesting research to the table, but the delivery lacks energy sometimes—they often sound..tired? Also may be that the pod is still small but it def has low production value..I think they could benefit from adding musical transitions or something..just a little more polish in the format to match the strength of the content. Overall so good though!
Love listening to two sisters chat. Ngā mihi!
I learn so much from all the fun facts and differences between the the book and movie. It’s a fun listen!
I always love talking about the differences between the books & the movies and you always learn something new with this podcast. Always fun to learn about the things that get changed, added or removed when a book is adapted into a movie or show.

Two hosts deliver thoughtful, accessibility-minded analysis of film adaptations from books, ranging from YA franchises to classic literatures. Episodes frequently compare source material to on-screen renditions, discuss casting, production choices, and thematic shifts, and sprinkle in trivia and personal anecdotes. The show stands out for a playful, spoiler-light approach, a willingness to tackle sensitive topics in adaptation (representation, trauma, disability), and a steady stream of crossover and special feature formats that keep conversations fresh for fans of both literature and cinema.
