  • Listener ? Braude should be the first to go. Interesting him to see him trying to bully his boss.

How pathetic is Marjorie!!!! She couldn’t handle a debate with a caller and big Braude had to interrupt and save her by attacking the caller.

It’s shows like this that lead to Trump’s shooting. Time to put these foolish octogenarians out to pasture. The way the two of these bullies attacked the caller was out of line!

  • What a Pair

Not since Scott Galloway and Kara Swisher has a pair of people complemented each other’s strong points and minimized each other’s weak points more perfectly than here. Topics and guests are invariably interesting. You might hear a judge, a naturalist and an economics professor in one show. There may be a Boston slant, but rarely for the whole show. Besides, what’s better than Boston?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BPR Full Show 4/29/26: To Smoosh, Or Not To Smoosh?
Q: What did you make of the CBS editing controversy around the Trump interview?
The host and caller debate whether the on-air edit was fair, with arguments that full transcripts show more context and that some outlets edited to fit political narratives, while others defend the editorial choices as standard practice under time constraints.
BPR Full Show 4/27/26: Is Political Violence the American Way?
Q: What was Susan Page's reaction to the Saturday night event at the dinner?
She described the moment as shocking and chaotic, with gunfire outside the door and people reacting in real time, which she recounted with vivid details from being at the table, leading to reflections on security and the public narrative.
BPR Full Show 4/15: Kind For A Day
Q: Are you cheating on your taxes?
Callers discuss personal tax behavior, with some admitting to or denying tax cheating, others describing tax protests, and experts clarifying the broader policy context and enforcement reality.
BPR Full Show 4/14: Holding Predatory Men Accountable In Congress
Q: What do you make of these two resignations?
They represent a push for accountability, but the guests acknowledge the political calculus and argue it is unclear whether this signals systemic change or just episodic responses to scandals.
BPR Full Show 4/9: Former Secretary John Kerry And The Iran War
Q: Was there an imminent threat to justify war, in your view?
There was not an imminent threat; the threat arguments cited did not meet that standard, and the assessment emphasized using diplomacy, verification, and a defined process rather than rushing into military action.
