  • Practical, clear, actionable Insights

I was particularly interested in the topic of book cover visuals. The episode I’ve listened to had easy to follow, relatable insights with clear suggestions I can apply. The sound quality is great as well (I listen x1.5 and still works well). Listened to a couple more episodes and found the content well prep’s and delivered. Now hit the “follow” button and know not all episodes will be relevant, but look forward to learning more on the topics that are. Nicely done, keep up the great work!!

Different Isn’t Enough: How to Build True Distinction as an Author - BM518
Q: What is the key difference between being different and being distinctive for an author?
Being distinctive comes from delivering unique, meaningful value that resonates with a specific audience, rather than simply changing surface-level aspects. A true distinction is built on a personal, credible point of view and relevant experiences that audience members can connect with.
Stop Guessing: How to Build Sales with Smarter Book Marketing - BM516
Q: When is the right time for an author to start working with a strategist like you?
Lead time depends on goals: six months or more if building a social platform ahead of launch; a year in advance is ideal for substantial platform-building, with flexibility for shorter windows if needed.
Stop Guessing: How to Build Sales with Smarter Book Marketing - BM516
Q: How should authors approach the role of digital marketing in their overall strategy?
Digital marketing encompasses most marketing activities but requires thoughtful integration with publicity, strong positioning online, and purposeful outreach to build awareness before pushing for sales.
Stop Guessing: How to Build Sales with Smarter Book Marketing - BM516
Q: What do you think many authors get wrong when marketing a book?
They mimic what others do without considering their own book, genre, platform, and audience; marketing must be tailored rather than one-size-fits-all, and authors should start with a broad, platform-focused strategy rather than fixating on publication day.
Unlocking the Secrets: How to Convert Readers into Coaching Clients - BM514
Q: What are the steps to help coaches struggling with lead generation?
Step number one is to find out who your ideal client is already spending money with. Step two is to use a booking email to help initiate conversations. Step three involves proving to the person you're introducing that they will look good by sending quality referrals.
