Love your podcasts - I was just flicking through Dr Karen Overall’s text book on Veterinary Behaviour and I see that she makes the claim that dogs lost due to behavioural problems ( between 1-4y/o ) are one of the biggest untapped vet markets due to the vet care they never go on to require. I think you should interview her about this point. Or Dr Daniel Mills - mainly because he also has a great podcast.
Dave Nicol is the perfect host. Eloquent, honest, and full of astute questions. He manages to wax lyrical without stealing the limelight. His talent confers Blunt Dissection with equal measures of entertainment and education.
Have really enjoyed this podcast for the last few years. However the Episode with Roblarun was my favourite. Touching inspiration at the right moment. The accents help too :)
This is a great podcast. Dave, the host, is wise beyond his years. His conversations run deep and delve into what it really means to thrive in the veterinary profession and indeed life. Very highly recommended. Keep up the good work Dave!
What more can you want?! I know us vet people do not have a lot of time, but make the time to listen to this podcast. It will make you laugh and smile and think very deeply. Absolutely love it.
