I like this as my start to the day , I used to gravitate to the FT but this is increasing rolling out the London metropolitan playbook and I want some more challenging views and thoughts.
Have always loved this pod for the top things to know each morning - but found it strange it was entirely UK based. Great move to now come from Brussels AND London. A unique take - not aware of any other station doing it- well done!
I do love this podcast and it’s a staple of my daily listening.
I find it odd though that they NEVER, and I mean NEVER mention the FTSE index movements but they’ll mention India’s, USA, China… yet it’s Europe, recorded in London and I never hear about the FTSE’s performance?
Lastly, I often think Caroline gets interrupted too often - and I don’t hear both opinions of the hosts on the news.
I enjoy this podcast, only one thing I find annoying.
Each day, the presenter recommends a Bloomberg article as a particular good read.
However, I often struggle to find said article on the Bloomberg site.
Can you start adding the links to these articles / comment pieces to the podcast description please?
No to Farage he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing a far right colonist
Why the media are media giving five MPs any sense of being legitimate for UK is a bad move
They are simply mirroring a Trump Musk rally call
I get it they searching for extremism it won’t take long for them to be found BUT we cannot allow far right Reform group whom to date show no actual facts around macro politics is very dangerous
Be careful what you as media step into !
