  • Terrible

They’re legal expert, just broke down Supreme Court case without reading the ruling, and she admitted that. She made numerous false with a political slant.

  • Full Time IRGC Mouthpiece

These people have lost their dam minds. In the past they have had some weird takes, but their stance on the Iran War is insane. Taken directly from the “IRGC Guide for Western Media”, they hit every talking point. Probably the most anti-American news podcast, so it leaves the rotation. It was already declining in quality anyways.

  • too many ads, liberal bias

I used to listen to this every day and couldn’t wait for a new episode to release. The volume of ads has increased semantically - almost 3 minutes of ads before the episode starts.

The news is generally objective but occasionally has a very liberal slant

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trump Accuses China of Election Meddling; US and Iran Escalation Fears
Q: What was your reaction to the president's primetime address?
Jennifer Lawless argues it was largely empty of new information and highlights the risks of airing vague claims during primetime, suggesting it may not shift political support significantly.
Trump Heads to NATO Summit; Oil Swings as Hormuz Flows Persist
Q: So as we said, Trump is heading to Turkey. What are his goals at this NATO Summit?
Gotham Mukunda suggests the goals are primarily domestic politics—impressing his base and pressuring allies—while also signaling attempts to influence NATO spending and possible compromises on Ukraine, though the overall prognosis is uncertain and potentially negative for alliance cohesion.
US and Iran Talk in Doha; Trump's $1.4 Billion Crypto Haul
Q: What is your read on the Doha discussions and the direction of Iran diplomacy?
Terry Haynes describes a process of surrounding Iran and denying freedom of movement as the talks gradually proceed, emphasizing market-positive momentum but noting the complexity and the need for international approvals and sovereignty considerations from regional actors.
Daybreak Holiday: Global Technology, Antitrust, Summer Travel
Q: Why isn't the Paramount Skydance deal considered a done deal after DOJ clearance?
Because UK and European regulators still need to approve, and a number of U.S. states could pursue independent antitrust actions, potentially delaying closing and potentially adding concessions.
Instant Reaction: SpaceX Jumps in First Trades Following Record $75 Billion IPO
Q: What is the thesis behind SpaceX's valuation given its diversified ambitions in AI and space hardware?
Valuation hinges on a multi-front story: a huge total addressable market for AI software and services, advanced rocket and data-center capabilities, and monetization through XAI and related partnerships, though requires execution on Starship milestones and AI deployments to sustain profitability.
