  • Full Time IRGC Mouthpiece

These people have lost their dam minds. In the past they have had some weird takes, but their stance on the Iran War is insane. Taken directly from the “IRGC Guide for Western Media”, they hit every talking point. Probably the most anti-American news podcast, so it leaves the rotation. It was already declining in quality anyways.

  • too many ads, liberal bias

I used to listen to this every day and couldn’t wait for a new episode to release. The volume of ads has increased semantically - almost 3 minutes of ads before the episode starts.

The news is generally objective but occasionally has a very liberal slant

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trump Maintains Naval Blockade; Big Tech Earnings Wrap with Apple
Q: I did see your post on X saying that these earnings assured a potential golden era for Apple. Tell me more.
Dan Ives argues that Apple's earnings signal a bullish trajectory supported by robust demand, a favorable product cycle, and a strategic AI roadmap; while chip costs may pressure margins, the company has a pathway to sustained growth through services and AI-enabled devices, with WWDC likely to reveal deeper AI integration such as Gemini and subscription offerings.
Instant Reaction: Fed Holds Rates, Three Officials Dissent
Q: What does the 8-4 vote say about the Fed's stance on easing?
The 8-4 vote, the first time four dissents have occurred since 1992, indicates a clear preference among the dissenters for a more symmetrical policy stance and no easing bias in the near term, suggesting a more cautious approach to future rate moves.
Instant Reaction: Trump Extends Iran Truce, Maintains Blockade as Talks Falter
Q: What is the realistic path to a deal given Iran's insistence on lifting the blockade before talks can proceed?
Analysts suggest a staged diplomacy where the blockage is gradually addressed (or validated as a leverage point) while commitments are made on de-escalation, backed by multilateral mediation through partners like Pakistan and China, and tied to verifiable limits on Iran's nuclear activities.
Evolving Money: Diversifying with Digital Assets (Sponsored Content)
Q: Beyond Bitcoin, what other digital assets or protocols should institutional investors consider?
Cosmo Jing explains that diversification includes layer-one protocols and applications built on top of them, such as DeFi and AI-enabled blockchain applications, each with distinct drivers of return and risk profiles, warranting a rigorous, investment-analytical approach similar to equities.
Evolving Money: Diversifying with Digital Assets (Sponsored Content)
Q: What is Bitcoin, and what role could it play in an institutional portfolio?
Bitcoin is discussed as a hard currency with a global, permissionless payment system, offering a form of monetary insurance and potential diversification away from fiat-centric risk, while its behavior may differ across cycles, making it a nuanced component in a portfolio.
