I love this podcast. I have been inspired to continue my education and pursue a masters in teaching. I was awarded a scholarship that will cover half of my tuition. I've also found assistantships after learning of them on this podcast. I look forward to listening to more episodes!
This is a must for all current and prospective grad students. Dare I say Blk in Grad School (Strengths not Strikes) is more than a podcast but the spark in a movement for a more positive, productive outlook in academia. The info is very helpful from applying to grad school to enhancing writing skills to being your best self in your career. This podcast covers everything. Also, I recommend current grad students to check out the Scholars Circle.
You will love this podcast and the amazing host, Allanté. I am about to graduate from a STEM PhD program and I get so much out of this valuable resource. I think that's one thing that makes this podcast great...there is something for everyone, at all stages of this grad school journey.
I wish this had been around when I started my PhD. Also episode 77 is my favourite.
As a white male teenager I feel like this podcast is not catered towards me. But I really have enjoyed the episodes I have listened to so thank you for the tips in life
