Advice on Sleep Training. It is completely outdated and is absolutely cruel to let babies cry!!! There are already countless studies/ experts to prove that!
Love listening to this, expecting my second baby. First I had a c section in the pandemic, life was different and full of anxiety. This time I don’t want to waste money or time worrying on things I don’t need to be. Cath is so real, to the point with this kind and warm tone. Listening to the dad on here (so sorry I haven’t caught your name yet!) it’s been lovely listening to a dad giving a real honest, emotional view on becoming a dad.
These theories re sleep feeding behaviour and more are outdated and non evidence based, they go against current research. This is damaging advice to be giving new mothers. The NDC approach is an evidence based approach.
I started this show and did not continue after a few episodes. I went and found another one. I’m fine if people disagree with others but the way they so haphazardly discarded women with birth plans it just did not come across as showing appropriate respect. Basically yeah, I just was not vibing with the attitude so I have moved on.
How can a midwife be promoting these non-evidence based approaches to parenting a newborn??? Absolutely baffles me!!
