  • Fun horror podcast

I like to tune in chats about the horror stuff I have watched or just to listen to the content about the ones I’m too scared to watch so I still get somewhat of the experience!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Souls Chapel
Q: What justified leaving a lot of the story undeveloped or unexplained for the audience?
Leaving certain backstories vague was deliberate to let viewers fill in gaps, making Souls Chapel feel like its own reality with Easter eggs and layered meaning rather than a fully explicit, traditional plot.
Souls Chapel
Q: How did you approach directing while also acting as the main character, and what were the challenges of doing both?
Balancing acting and directing meant relying on a solid crew and DP to capture the right takes; it was demanding because you're both in the scene and mindful of the edit, but a strong team allowed the vision to come through without sacrificing performance.
Souls Chapel
Q: Can you tell us what you remember about your first exposure to the horror genre and what drew you to it?
I wasn't initially a big horror fan, but I fell in love with suspense and thrillers like Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street, and over time the genre drew me in through exploration at conventions and collaborations with people who shared that passion.
The Conjuring - Last Rites
Q: Do you think we'll see more of Judy and Tony in future installments?
Absolutely, I think the ending hints at their potential as a new leading duo in the franchise.
The Conjuring - Last Rites
Q: What were your thoughts on the Smurl family portrayal in the film?
I feel like they weren't developed as well as other families in the series; we didn't get to see much of their haunting experience.
