Fussman’s smarts, curiosity and genuine interest in his guests = constantly intriguing and inspiring interviews. None better.
I love how well the flow of the conversations are structured, very logical, natural, and intriguing at the same time. I can listen to the topics I may not be comfortable because Cal makes it all about “trying to understand” and “satisfying curiosity” not necessarily about drawing a conclusion. I’m amazed how he can sound empathetic yet objective simultaneously.
Cal has interviewed many a household name in his career. He often presents an unconventional point of view, which I greatly appreciate whether I agree or not.
Cal is a master interviewing and storyteller!
