I had a laugh reading all the low reviews. I can totally understand Emma isn’t for everybody but it’s her personality that makes me love her even more. It’s so common for true crime podcasters to sit on the fence, in fear of loosing or upsetting some of the listeners but i feel like Emma has worked hard and has the right to say what ever she wants on her own show. I don’t agree with all her opinions at all but it’s refreshing and challenges my thinking to hear somebody just speak their mind and ... more
I know everyone has an opinion on Emma but my review isn’t about that it’s about the quality of the productions. If you want people to think you’re credible please invest in an editor for your podcast, the throat clearing, the random adverts in the middle of a word (I appreciate they are a must but leave space for them and announce the ad breaks). A “new” episode just dropped and I went to listen and it’s the same episode as last week but with a different title.

I really love this podcast. I do. But as other people have said, the adverts recently had made it impossible to listen to. I’ve had to abandon episodes because it’s so hard to listen to.
Used to love this podcast but on last couple they are literally every 1-2 minutes making it impossible to listen to
Some have mentioned the ‘voices’ - I agree they are awful. Worse though is whoever has put in the ad breaks. I’ve tried to listen to a podcast just this morning and we aren’t even 2 minutes through and there have been 4 ad breaks. Clearly a production thing but really lazy and shoddy.
