I’m honestly so shocked to see the bad reviews from the rebrand. Yes, I get it, “lucky” culture can feel kind of trendy and a gimmick. But under the title are encouraging, inspiring, and motivating conversation. In a genre dominated by white men, these are the stories from thriving Black women that I want to hear. In fact, my boyfriend subscribed as a joke but is now a listener because he found the conversations so insightful.

Les is such a great interviewer and these conversations have been encouraging me and challenging me. I am love the shift and I love the conversation, they are impactful, they are challenging in all the right ways that cause you to want to be better, show up better and do better.
I’ve been a listener for years and will not be following this podcast anymore. I’ve listened as Les has turned into a creator that seems to “fuss” at her listeners for simply being invested/supportive and asking questions. Making comments to her listeners such as “use your words” is unprofessional and creating exactly the opposite of a safe space for Black women.
