  • I love the in-depth discussions and honest critiques, but my favorite part is the "bad story trailers" segment where they brainstorm a movie idea and then record a fake trailer for it. Some of them are pretty hilarious, and others I'd like to see as actual films!

  • Great discussions and Realistic Insights

I was turned onto this podcast after episode 263 of Nerdy Show (Hail Hydra) mentioned that Doug and Josh were involved in making it, and have been listening to catch up every day this week. I've enjoyed everything about this, and it reminds me of not only my friends talking with me about my writing, but my writer's group here at home. The topical insights to structure and other things is incredibly helpful, and seeing the slow maturation of stories helps give me the inspiration and motivation I ... more

  • Solid.

I love when I learn something new about writing, but that's only one of the reasons I listen to BST. I like hearing friends from my home town. It's a way of staying connected with them. Keep doing what your doing guys, its great. And keep the dice rolling at the end, I loved the Monster fighting Fantasy Gangsters. You shouuld defintely have someone work you up a little guitar solo for the intro, "Hi this is Bad Storytellers." WEEEEYAAHHHEEDLEEDDLEEEDLEEDDLEE.
