After laughing my way through the episode about “Three Men in a Boat”, I committed to write my first podcast review (ever). I’m not a big sci-fi fantasy reader, but did somehow end up in a local library’s sci-fi book club and have enjoyed the crossover between what I’ve been reading for book club and the books in this podcast. This is a really pleasant podcast. The host has a nice voice which makes all the difference in the world in the podcast universe. The books are summed up well, but still leave you wanting to know more, which is a nice way to lead you to reading the actual books. This is not the type of podcast I typically listen to, I’m more of a true crime person, so these short episodes are a nice “palate cleanser” between my other listens.
