Is it harsh to celebrate the existance of a podcast dedicated only to the "terible terrapin" without the intrusion of a certain other giant monster icon? Who cares! It's a show dedicated to the Friend of All Children and the Guardian of the Universe. The podcast is only in its infancy and it already is a wonderful addition to the pantheon of kaiju casts. If you’re into the most underrated of kaiju—namely Gamera—this is the show for you. It’s especially the show for you if you enjoy review/riff shows on YouTube like Brandon Tenold. Matt’s humorous short-form reviews are quite digestible and have plenty of zingy one-liners. It also funny to hear how he’s interrupted by drunks while watching the movies at a bar and taking notes. As upstart kaiju podcasts go, this is a good one!
