Q: What was it like to transition from being an active competitor to focusing on the business side of dance events?

Q: When did dance begin to define your path, and how did your studies intersect with your athletic pursuit?
I started dancing very young; my technical training began around age 10 with Ballet Folklorico, and I later pursued diverse dance forms at UCSD while studying psychology, balancing classes, dance performances, and part-time work, which shaped my resilience and time-management.

Q: How did you find yourself at UC San Diego and what was that experience like for you?
I came to UC San Diego as a student who wanted to stay in San Diego, felt welcomed, and participated in Summer Bridge to get acquainted with campus life, which helped me build a strong community and mentorship network.

Q: What drew you to ballet?
The 'mathiness' of ballet and its nature as a problem-solving art form appeals to me, as it requires cognitive investment and collective empathy from the community.
