I am pretty sure I have eaten at Culver’s entirely because of these folks talking about Nerissa Ravencroft. Anyway, I enjoy this discussion about the classical stories, folk tales, etc. The discussion about other stuff after is also really nice. It’s a great companion for when I go on walks.
This podcast probably has one of my favorite theme songs. The rest of the content is perfect too. Both hosts are great and they bring a fun energy to Nordic Sagas
As someone who’d long been curious about the Icelandic Sagas but never tried to actually engage with them, this podcast is a dream come true.
Niamh and Em are both great podcasters, and their dynamic here being along the lines of an expert talking to a friend about their area of interest keeps the tone conversational while still being insightful. Highly recommend as a way to learn more about some pretty good stories.
