  • Best podcast EVER and fun too

I gave up on mainstream media years ago. The bias to the left was unmistakable. A&G presents major stories that you won’t find on said MM. they back up stories w facts, and have a stable of experts to interpret facts

Plus A&G are fun. Have listened to them daily for over 10 years.

Best source of info and discussions anywhere.

  • A&G and The Ace Man?!

I almost fell over when I read the title of this A&G Extra Long. I have been a daily listener of the A&G show since DAY ONE. I am also a HUGE fan of Adam Carolla (already have my tickets to Friday’s show in Reno) since the mid 90’s ala Loveline. This podcast made me giddy for the coming weekend and proud to be a part of such an awesome generational culture that will benefit from old school radio (AM and FM) and the world of podcasts. Rock on my savage libertarian mates!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

We Are Free People. "Tim The Lawyer" Sandefur Talks to A&G.
Q: What were the founding fathers pushing back against?
Sandefur explains that they opposed Parliament's claimed supreme authority over the colonies and sought to secure rights based on natural law, leading to independence as a assertion of self-governance and individual liberty.
Hard Lessons = Great Value. Stephen Kates Talks to A&G
Q: What is the state of the economy in a short, no-spin answer?
There are some good things and some bad things; personal circumstances largely dictate whether you feel positive or negative about the current economy, and while hiring remains slow, many people still have jobs, making homeownership difficult for first-time buyers.
Good Butter, Bad Decisions. Anastasia Boden Talks to A&G
Q: What was the case about?
It concerned the government seizing a home over a $2,000 tax bill, the sale price, and whether the owners should be compensated beyond the sale proceeds; the ruling did not grant fair market value but left room for remand.
Why So Much Violence in This Country?
Q: What role do institutions and education play in shaping individuals who engage in political violence, according to your book?
Rothman cites sociological research showing that some violent actors come from educated, well-off backgrounds, and he argues that intellectual elites sometimes unintentionally normalize violence by framing it as a rational response to systemic failures.
Why So Much Violence in This Country?
Q: Can we start there and discuss the central claim of your book about the asymmetry in coverage of left-wing versus right-wing violence?
Rothman explains that the media and institutions have historically downplayed or normalized left-wing violence while treating right-wing violence as a more singular threat, and he argues this bias impedes an honest appraisal of political violence across the spectrum.
