Very well narrated and does his very best to give us the most honest podcast on the founding of this country, even though the odds against us at that time were astronomical and there is no way we should have won. He does an excellent job of describing how things were back in those times, and goes on to explain in detail how certain things and verbage were perceived back then when it needs to be addressed! Very well done sir!
The podcast took 100 episodes to make it to the Declaration of Independence. I didn’t mind so much because he was being thorough. I was excited when it came time to cover the Battle of Brooklyn to hear his coverage of the Maryland 400. The engagement was epic. He literally didn’t even mention them, just hinting at the engagement. I was really deflated and hope one day he covers them better. The City of Brooklyn to this day honors them annually. more
I really look forward to new episodes but I get disappointed when I realize the next episode is a discussion with a guest. I was addicted but not as much now due to the increasing number of special episodes.
Relatively new to this. I wasn’t much of a student in high school or college and didn’t become interested in American history until my adult years. Having grown up in Massachusetts I visited most of the Revolution sites as a child. After taking my daughters there a couple of years ago I found myself fascinated.
