After much thought and consideration, both Ceara and Allison have decided to step away from Already Friends. We poured our hearts into the show for 5 full years and are so proud of what we created. The AFP community has grown with us and given us so much grace and support over the years. We’re both grieving in closing this chapter, but we know there’s new projects on the horizon. • So Slow

GET TO THE POINT GIRLS! Whatever you put in the headline should be 5 mins into the podcast not 19-20 mins! I’m trying to relate and engage and listen but honestly not great speakers. I have tried to hang in for a few episodes but i just can’t.

  • Feels like a convo with besties:)

I was on the hunt for a new podcast to listen to and I absolutely love this one. I love the topics that are talked about and Allison and Ceara seem so nice and knowledgeable. It feels like I’m listening to close friends and chatting with them or getting advice from the older sister I never had! It makes it even cooler that I also live in the Saint Louis area! :)

  • Love everything about this show

Been listening to this podcast since 2021 and it continues to be one of my highlights each Friday. They have such a fun dynamic to listen to and I’m always left learning something new. Lowkey this podcast has shaped parts of my personality now because I’ve listened for so long and have taken so much knowledge and advice from it. Love love love and you should definitely give it a listen!!

The Gap Between What You Want To Give and What’s Actually Sustainable (WWYBD?!)
Q: Question number four. How do you stay so consistent with your aesthetic? I'm inspired by many vibes and struggle to keep one brand path, often wanting to start multiple brands.
Niche your focus to make the business more sustainable and easier to manage, but allow yourself to experiment in your personal life to discover what truly feels like you. Over time, you'll refine a consistent personal style that blends influences, and keep business brands aligned to one overarching direction.
The Gap Between What You Want To Give and What’s Actually Sustainable (WWYBD?!)
Q: Question number three. I have a small group of college friends I still keep in touch with, even though all of us live in different places. One friend rarely responds, and after my long-term relationship ended, I feel hurt by her lack of support. What would your bestie do?
Acknowledge that friends may respond differently and that people have changing capacity. Reach out separately to check in and share updates, then invest more energy in in-person connections in your city. Group chats inevitably shrink as life evolves; prioritize those who actively show up and consider creating one-on-one moments to maintain meaningful ties.
The Gap Between What You Want To Give and What’s Actually Sustainable (WWYBD?!)
Q: Question number two. How do you balance budgeting when your income fluctuates each month as a business owner?
Diversify income streams and live below your means to cushion against seasonal dips. Treat the extra earnings as optional and avoid reinvesting everything immediately into the business. Focus on sustainability, be willing to slow upgrades, and recognize that growth can be healthy at a slower pace for long-term stability.
The Gap Between What You Want To Give and What’s Actually Sustainable (WWYBD?!)
Q: They said, I also live abroad. I'm going home to America for two weeks. And while I'm thankful that I will have two weeks to spend, I'm also so overwhelmed every time that I'm home, that it makes me not want to come back, honestly. I feel like I could never make people happy in balancing time with friends and family. It feels like no matter how I plan my schedule when I'm home, it's never good enough. What advice do you have for going home and trying to balance this? Do I just need to be more realistic about seeing a lot of people only one time, or do I need to start really narrowing down who I spend my time with when I'm home?
My advice is to be selective and to reach out separately to the people you care about most. Schedule one-on-one or small meetups, use public spaces for easier pop-ins, and prioritize close friends and family you've kept in touch with while abroad. Leverage tools like a week-long schedule and public posts to coordinate, and don't take it personally if some connections aren't as active while you're home—the goal is meaningful connection, not checking every box. Consider planning ahead with a calendar and communications so you can maximize quality time without burning out.
Reciprocity In Friendships, Guilt Over Past Mistakes and Toxic Situationships (WWYBD?!)
Q: Any advice for someone dealing with a fear of flying?
Proud of you for taking the steps to start to conquer this fear of flying. Try to look up and see if there's a fear of flying course at your airport.
